Embellish Challenge

I wanted to make a card for a friend who got his promotion recently. The colors and banners from the Embellish challenge is perfect for a masculine congratulation card.
Here is the Embellish Challenge for you

And this is my card.

I like the solid masculine colour banners and how they draw the focus to the sentiment. I am glad with how the card turned out and will be happy to give it to him tomorrow 🙂

Only one and half weeks more of school and then one and half month of holidays. Kids are looking forward to school holidays. Although I prefer no early wake ups or school runs during school holidays but also like the peace and quiet time to myself during school term. I cannot have the cake and eat it too, can I? lol!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Luv!

  1. Gayatri…….I haven't visited your blog is quite some time and I have realized that I am missing a LOT! Love what you did with the strips of color and how masculine this looks despite the bling! Love it!

  2. What a wonderful masculine card. And, how nice of you to be so supportive of your co worker. I like how you have lined up the banners so perfectly so it is like there is a line going diagonally up the page.

  3. Cool!!

  4. All of those banners remind me of men's ties … all hanging in a neat row. Great colour scheme and design for a masculine card. I'm sure your friend will love it!!

  9. What a great masculine card. And of course by just changing the colors it would be perfect for a female, too. Thanks for the inspiration!
