Tis the season….

I woke up very early this morning (Charlie my puppy wakes me up early!) and was browsing through Kristina Werner’s blog looking at her Holiday series cards and I came up a video she had done recently using Distress Ink from Tim Holtz. I pinned her video and here it is for you – Video by K. Werner.Β
I wanted to try it myself. So I did! Here is the card for you

The panel is made using the same method described by Kristina in her video. I used Spiced Marmalade, Fire Brick andΒ  Peeled Paint and gold embossed PTI’s Embellishment stamp image. Totally cool hun! Love it. I also spritzed SU’s Gold Glow Smooch Spritz on it to give a shimmer gold glow πŸ™‚ Here is a closeup of the panel.

I have used CASual Friday Sketch to make this card. Here is the sketch for you.
If you like to play along then here is the link to the challenge blog.
I cannot wait to try more of Kristina’s techniques. Thanks for stopping by!
Have a wonderful relaxing Sunday πŸ™‚
