February PTI Blog Hop

February 25, 2011 Blog Hop, PTI, Uncategorized

Hi everybody,
Its PTI blog hop today and this month’s theme is
This month we decided to dedicate the Blog Hop to scallops!  We want to see your best use of scallops,
of any sort, on a project!  This can include scalloped borders, offset-scallops, stamped scallops,
scalloped mats, scalloped frames, layered scallops, scalloped tags or anything else you can dream up!
You can use dies, patterned scissors or even circle punches in a row to achieve your special look.  We
are looking forward to seeing all of your amazing creations!
Here is my take on the theme.

I used banner dies to make the scallops on this card. Love the deep offset scallops and that white border. Gives the card a gorgeous dressed feel to it! Happy with how it turned out. Hope you like it too 🙂

Now off to hop and see other scallop project. Happy hopping!

Luv!

Before I read your description I had to zoom right in and see how you made those layered scallops. What a great idea to use the banner die for them. They look just like you cut them in a single strip. Beautiful card and the colors were spectacular.
